Former Minister of Aviation, Osita Chidoka, has declared that the
leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, Nnamdi Kanu will meet
his bail condition.
Recall that an Abuja Federal High Court had on
Tuesday granted Kanu, who doubles as the Director of Radio Biafra bail
under stringent conditions.
Chidoka, who took to his twitter
handle wrote, “Nnamdi’s bail conditions will be met, hopefully
government will obey the judiciary.”
Recall that the Justice Binta Nyako-led Court had granted the IPOB leader bail on health grounds.
In
her ruling, the judge had ordered Kanu to provide three sureties, one
of who must be a serving senator, a jewish religious leader and highly
respected person.
She held that they must own property anywhere in Abuja, but put the bail bond at N100 million for each surety.
Justice Nyako also ordered the IPOB leader never to grant any press interview pending the outcome of his trial.
Noting
that Kanu should not be in a gathering of more than 10 persons, the
judge warned that the bail granted the IPOB leader would be revoked if
any of the orders were flouted.
